The following three
Summer Reading Programs are offered for the various age levels:

* Pre-School - ages 4-6
"We're Buggy for Books!"
* Elementary Level - grades l - 6 (grade
completed)
"Catch the Reading Bug"
* Young Adult - grades 7 & 8
"Metamorphosis"
Register in person at the
library no sooner than the last day of school. Each child will receive a
bag with
BookLogs, an incentive prize, and all necessary supplies.

Special entertainer Tom Cornwell
was at the Library on Saturday, May 31st to help get kids "Buggy about Reading". Tom is a
professional children's performer who entertained the crowd of over 100 people
with funny songs (as well as educational) about insects. The children
especially enjoyed dancing to the "Grasshopper Hop".

"We're Buggy for Books!" - Preschool Summer Reading Program (ages 4-6)
Attention all bug lovers! Have any of your favorite people read to you lately (or did you read a good book to them?) Come into the library and pick up a Reading Log where you can record books read and be eligible to play Buggy Bingo, win prizes, and have tons of fun!
If you're "'antsy" for a fun
way to spend your summer, join us as we set out on a hike to discover the
interesting creatures that exist around us. You may attend three storytime
sessions being held on Wednesday afternoons - June 11, 18, and 25 at 1:00
or 1:45.
Stop in to the Library or call 432-6543 to register and become an official bug collector!
