Searchable worldwide newspapers from 1759-1977 (excluding South Dakota). View, print or save full page historical newspapers. Access inside K-12 school or public libraries only-no at home access.
AncestryLibrary
Of interest to those researching local history and family histories. Includes U.S. Federal Census records from 1790 thru 1930, immigration records, military records, the Social Security Death Index, the family history library and more. AtoZ e-journals
Locate the full-text of magazines, newspapers and journals in the various databases which the SD State Library has licensed. Available on PC's in 70+ SD libraries & on their campuses and on PC's of SD State Government. South Dakota Newspaper Association/SDNA Statewide Newspaper Database
Provides keyword searchable cover-to-cover scanned images of "legal" newspapers from January 1, 2004 to the present (except the Sioux Falls, Rapid City, or Watertown daily papers) There is a limit of five simultaneous users throughout South Dakota. Available exclusively on PC's in 400+ SD libraries on their campuses, as well as on PC's of SD State Government.
